Barcelona star returns to the starting lineup against Real Mallorca tonight

One of Barcelona’s key players will make his return to the lineup under German coach Hansi Flick for the upcoming La Liga match against Real Mallorca.

The match will take place tonight at the “Iberostar” Stadium, Mallorca’s home ground, as part of the 19th round of the Spanish League. Barcelona is hoping to get back to winning ways after failing to secure a victory in their last three matches, which has put their top spot in the standings at risk of being overtaken by their rivals, Real Madrid.

According to the Spanish newspaper “Sport,” Marc Casado will rejoin the starting lineup after serving a suspension for his red card in the match against Celta Vigo. He missed Barcelona’s recent defeat to Las Palmas. Reports suggest that Barcelona conceded four goals in his absence—two in the match against Celta Vigo and two more against Las Palmas.

Additionally, midfielder Gavi is expected to return to the bench with Casado’s return, as Flick prefers him over Gavi, who had a disappointing performance in the previous round. Gavi has played in 17 matches this season, scoring five goals.
