Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold is also a prominent candidate to join Real Madrid in the summer, especially as his contract with the Reds is set to expire, allowing the club to sign him on a free transfer. Relevo reported that Alexander-Arnold is Real Madrid’s top choice, but the club has also inquired about Dalot’s price. Ancelotti views Dalot as a strong option due to his balanced defensive and offensive abilities, unlike Alexander-Arnold, who excels in attack but has notable defensive shortcomings.
However, negotiations for Dalot are expected to be challenging, as Manchester United is reportedly asking for €50 million to release him.
