The Spanish coach is actively seeking solutions and has urged Nasser Al-Khelaifi to act decisively in bringing in a star player to address this issue. According to the Spanish newspaper El Nacional, PSG believes the answer lies within Barcelona, specifically targeting one of Hansi Flick’s key players, Ronald Araujo.
Though Araujo has been sidelined for much of the season due to a serious injury requiring surgery, he is nearing the end of his rehabilitation and is expected to return to action before the year’s end. However, given the strong performances of Pau Coparci and Iñigo Martínez, it seems unlikely that Araujo will secure a regular spot in Barcelona’s starting lineup.
Araujo is widely regarded as one of the world’s top defenders, but his role under Hansi Flick remains uncertain. With his contract running until 2026, there is growing speculation about his future at Barcelona, prompting the club’s president Joan Laporta and director Deco to consider selling him.
