‘I told him he had it’: Yamal on Raphinha’s missed chance from his brilliant assist

Barcelona triumphed over Dortmund 3-2 in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.

Lamine Yamal shared his perspective on a moment when he used the outside of his foot to set up Raphinha, who was unable to score.

“I told Rafa he had it (laughs),” Yamal said about the assist for Raphinha.

“It’s a skill that’s been working well for me, and I’ll keep using it if it helps the team,” he added.

“It’s something that comes naturally to me; it’s not like I’m always practicing it in training.”

Yamal also spoke about the challenging conditions, saying, “It was a tough ground, but we managed to hold on.”
