Hansi Flick decides on the departure of Barcelona duo in the next winter transfer window

Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has made the decision to let two first-team players depart the club in the upcoming summer transfer window. The Catalan side is aiming to secure major signings in the near future, which requires offloading several players to make room for new additions.

Barcelona recently secured a thrilling 3-2 victory over Borussia Dortmund, bringing their points total to 15 and placing them second in the Champions League standings. According to the Catalan newspaper Sport, Barcelona’s plans to sign Jonathan Tah next summer will not impact Ronald Araujo’s place in the team, as Flick intends to retain the Uruguayan alongside Coparsi and Inigo Martinez in defense.

The report also highlighted that Flick has decided to part ways with Andreas Christensen and Eric Garcia, as their continued presence at the club is no longer necessary. The coach has already started coordinating with the management on upcoming transfers and departures, with the two defenders at the top of the list.
