As the January transfer window approaches, Arsenal may look to strengthen their squad in their pursuit of the title. Various players have been linked to the club, including Viktor Gyokeres.
Reports indicate that Arsenal are in talks with the Sporting striker, who has scored 27 goals in 25 games this season. The Portuguese side is reportedly demanding around €65 million (£54m) for the 26-year-old.
Moreover, Arsenal continue to show interest in RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko, whom they tried to sign in the summer before he decided to extend his contract with the German club.
Spanish outlet Fichajes reports that Arsenal have reached an “agreement in principle” to sign midfielder Alberto Moleiro from Las Palmas. Arteta views Moleiro as a player in the mold of Martin Ødegaard and is expected to trigger the 20-year-old’s €60 million (£50m) release clause next summer. Moleiro has impressed this season, scoring four goals in 17 games, and an official announcement on his move could be expected in the coming months.
