Dream Arne Slot attacking plan at Liverpool if Bryan Mbeumo signs and $58M transfer completed

Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo has sparked transfer speculation with recent comments about his future. The French-born Cameroon international is reportedly being targeted by Liverpool and Newcastle United, according to French media, and has hinted at a possible move from Brentford. Mbeumo, who played a crucial role in helping Brentford secure Premier League promotion and their subsequent success, shared in an interview with L’Équipe that he aspires to play for “the best clubs.” He reflected, “I’ve spent five seasons at Brentford, a club that helped me develop and progress.”

“I want to compete in the biggest tournaments and play for the top clubs. It’s exciting to know that some major teams are interested in me. We’ll see what happens.”

Although L’Equipe mentioned Liverpool and Newcastle United as potential destinations for Mbeumo, Arne Slot and his team could have the upper hand. This is because Mbeumo has already openly expressed his desire for his next club to help him secure a Champions League title.

In an interview with the Evening Standard in August, he stated: “I want to win the Champions League. Anything is possible.”

Liverpool would undoubtedly have an edge over their rivals in this aspect. After missing out on the Champions League last season, they have qualified again and possess an outstanding record in European competitions.
