Manchester United Receive £38m Bid for Alejandro Garnacho as Napoli and INEOS Express Interest

Napoli has made a €45m (£38m) bid for Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho, as reported by journalist Alfredo Pedulla. The Serie A club is targeting the 20-year-old Argentine as a potential replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskelia, who is expected to join Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) soon.

The bid, which includes additional add-ons, falls short of Manchester United’s £60m valuation of Garnacho, although the club may be open to negotiating a lower price. Juventus, another Serie A club, is also monitoring Garnacho’s situation, though they may wait until the end of the season to act. Napoli, meanwhile, is eager to secure the young forward in January, particularly as Kvaratskelia is nearing an €80m (£67m) move to PSG.

With the potential departure of Kvaratskelia, Napoli could use the funds to pursue Garnacho. The Manchester United academy graduate has struggled to secure regular minutes under manager Ruben Amorim, making only three Premier League starts this season without scoring.

A potential sale of Garnacho would provide valuable funds for Manchester United, which could be reinvested into strengthening the squad. INEOS, the club’s owners, are reportedly keen to make signings this month.

Garnacho’s future is still up in the air, but his talent continues to attract interest from top European clubs.
