One of Real Madrid’s first-team players has made a definitive decision regarding his future with the club during the winter transfer window.
The royal club secured a 4-1 victory over Las Palmas in La Liga’s 20th round, reclaiming the top spot in the Spanish league with 46 points, benefitting from Atletico Madrid’s loss to Leganes.
Dani Ceballos, the team’s midfielder, has decided to remain with Real Madrid despite rumors linking him to a potential return to Real Betis. Ceballos confirmed in comments to Mundo Deportivo: “I spoke with the club and the coach, and I will stay here with Real Madrid until the end of the season for sure.”
He added, “I wish the best for Betis, especially as they are going through a difficult time right now, but I trust in their ability to get back on the right track.”
Ceballos also praised Betis, mentioning players like Isco and Giovani Lo Celso, and expressed his belief that the club would improve in the near future.
