After being expelled from his current team, the former Real Madrid star asks Perez to return again, but Perez’s response was shocking

Many players who left Real Madrid have faced difficult challenges after departing the club, realizing that life outside the Bernabeu isn’t as easy as they once thought. While the initial excitement of seeking a new challenge or achieving success elsewhere motivated them, the reality often turned out to be far different from their expectations.

One player who appears to have faced this struggle is Marco Asensio. After his contract with Real Madrid expired in the summer of 2023, he opted for a move to Paris Saint-Germain, hoping for a fresh start. However, his time in Paris has not gone as planned.

Reports indicate that Asensio has found himself out of favor with PSG manager Luis Enrique, having played a mere 18 minutes in the last 10 matches and even failing to warm up during a recent cup match. As a result, Asensio has reportedly asked Real Madrid president Florentino Perez for the chance to return to the club. However, Perez has firmly closed the door on the possibility of Asensio rejoining Los Blancos.

Despite Asensio’s struggles in Paris, he has yet to decide on his next move, though it is clear that his time at PSG is likely coming to an end, especially with the club’s recent acquisition of Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The situation raises questions about players’ decisions to leave prestigious clubs like Real Madrid, only to face harsh realities elsewhere.
