Mo Salah delivers a massive update for Liverpool fans about his future at Anfield following last night’s electrifying match!

Liverpool stars Mohamed Salah and Harvey Elliott have recently addressed questions about their futures, offering some intriguing insights.

Following Liverpool’s 2-1 win over Lille in the Champions League, both players were asked about their plans moving forward. Elliott, who has been linked with a possible summer transfer and previously associated with a move to Newcastle, firmly dismissed such speculation. Speaking to TNT Sports, he stated, “It’s pretty clear… I’m not leaving. This is my team, this is my club!”

Salah, whose contract is set to expire in June and has been rumored to be considering a move to Saudi Arabia, offered a more reserved response. After scoring his 50th European goal for Liverpool, he was asked about the possibility of reaching more milestones. His reply was: “I’m not sure about that, but I’ll give it my best.”

Reflecting on his achievement, Salah added: “Hopefully, I’m not the last to reach this. I wasn’t focused on the record before the match, but I’m very proud and happy—especially since we won, which is what matters most. Lille had an excellent game plan; they were unbeaten in 21 matches and proved to be tough opponents. I’ll give them credit, but I’m glad we secured the win.”

Liverpool’s victory over Lille at Anfield strengthened their position at the top of their Champions League group, marking their seventh consecutive win in the competition. Salah opened the scoring in the first half, and although Lille equalized through Jonathan David despite being down to 10 men after Aissa Mandi’s red card, Elliott’s deflected shot in the second half sealed the victory for Liverpool.

Barcelona’s dramatic 5-4 win over Benfica means Liverpool now need just one point from their final group-stage match against PSV to confirm their place as group leaders. With 21 points from seven matches, no other team can surpass their tally.
