Not Arnold… Real Madrid sets its sights on the Liverpool star who is considered one of the best players in the world in his position

Real Madrid is reportedly keeping a close eye on Liverpool’s French defender Ibrahima Konaté with the intention of signing him in the next summer transfer window, according to a recent report. Florentino Pérez aims to further strengthen the squad by acquiring top talent to maintain their competitiveness across all tournaments and stay at the top.

The Frenchman, whose contract with Liverpool expires in the summer of 2026, is seen by Real Madrid as an ideal option to bolster their defense. With concerns over the recurring injuries of David Alaba and Éder Militão, and the advancing age of Antonio Rüdiger, Konaté’s potential acquisition could address these issues.

Konaté has yet to reach an agreement on a contract renewal with Liverpool, making him a valuable target for Real Madrid. While the French defender is a key focus, it’s worth noting that Trent Alexander-Arnold, another Liverpool star, is also on the radar for Los Blancos in the upcoming transfer window.
