Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone reaffirmed his belief that Barcelona remains the best team in La Liga following the Madrid derby.
“They attack very well, they have incredible speed in their players, and they play very well as a team,” Simeone stated after Atletico’s 1-1 draw against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The result benefits Barcelona, as both of their title rivals dropped two points each.
With Real and Atletico failing to secure a win, the updated La Liga standings now set the stage for Barcelona’s upcoming clash against Sevilla.
