Hansi Flick has reportedly informed the young forward that he is not part of his plans for the rest of the season or beyond. Despite having opportunities to leave during the winter transfer window, Fati chose to stay, but his situation has only worsened.
In January, Flick advised him to find a new club, as he was not in the coach’s long-term vision. However, Fati rejected transfer offers, hoping to reclaim a place in the squad. Unfortunately, his playing time has diminished significantly, and he has been almost entirely sidelined in recent weeks. Flick has now made his stance clear: as long as he is in charge, Ansu Fati will not play for Barcelona again.
Despite the club’s initial hope that Fati could regain his form, Flick and his coaching staff believe he lacks the physical and technical qualities needed to compete at the highest level with Barcelona. His exclusion from the squad signals that his time at the club is coming to an end.
