There were wild scenes in the final Merseyside derby at Goodison Park as THREE red cards were issued after James Tarkowski’s last-gasp leveller.

Everton captain produced a dramatic equalizer in the dying moments of the Merseyside derby, volleying home to level the score with the final kick of the game, sparking wild celebrations at Goodison Park. However, after a lengthy VAR check, tensions soared when Everton midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure went to taunt the Liverpool supporters, triggering a heated response.

Liverpool’s Curtis Jones, visibly frustrated, shoved Doucoure, which led to a full-on brawl as players from both sides rushed to the scene. In the aftermath, both Doucoure and Jones were shown red cards by referee Michael Oliver.

Adding to the chaos, Liverpool manager Arne Slot was also sent off after approaching the referee in an animated manner to voice his displeasure over the events.

Footage soon surfaced showing the full incident, capturing the intense emotions and tempers that flared in the final moments of an already tense Merseyside derby.
