Lamine Yamal’s Surprising Transfer Wish: Barcelona Star Names His Dream Signing
Barcelona’s rising talent recently gave an interview to the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, stirring controversy with his remarks on refereeing and Real Madrid.
In a different discussion, Spanish winger Lamine Yamal revealed the player he most wants to see join Barcelona.
While many expected him to name Nico Williams, Yamal instead highlighted three standout talents from outside the club—Manchester City’s Savinho Moreira, Santos’ Neymar da Silva, and Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala.
When asked which of the three he would sign if given the chance, he responded, “You might think I’d pick Neymar, but my choice is Musiala.”
The German star has been in exceptional form for Bayern Munich this season, making 32 appearances, scoring 15 goals, and providing eight assists.
Despite his admiration for Neymar—whom he considers a role model—Yamal admitted that the Brazilian’s departure from Barcelona influenced his decision.
However, Barcelona’s hopes of signing Musiala appear slim, as the 21-year-old recently signed a long-term contract extension with Bayern, shutting the door on potential moves to La Liga or the Premier League.
