Not Peña… Barcelona star angry at Hansi Flick after the Las Palmas match and demands an immediate departure

Barcelona are thriving under Hansi Flick, leading La Liga, reaching the Copa del Rey semi-finals, and advancing to the Champions League last 16. However, not all players are content with their roles in the squad.

According to El Nacional, midfielder Pablo Torre is among the most frustrated. Despite showing promise when given chances, he has been sidelined in recent weeks, receiving little to no playing time. Disappointed by Flick’s lack of faith in him, Torre has decided to seek an exit in the summer transfer window.

His time at Barcelona has been challenging. Under Xavi Hernández, he had limited opportunities before being loaned to Girona last season, where he also struggled for minutes. Barcelona recalled him, hoping Flick would integrate him into the team, but that hasn’t been the case. With minimal involvement, Torre feels overlooked and is determined to move on to revive his career.

The club, aware of his discontent, will not block his departure if he insists on leaving. While they recognize his talent, they acknowledge that his development has stalled. A loan move to another La Liga club, where he could play a key role, seems likely. If a strong offer emerges, Barcelona may even consider a permanent transfer with a buy-back clause.

Despite his lack of minutes, Torre remains a sought-after prospect, with clubs like Real Sociedad, Villarreal, and Betis expressing interest. Unless there’s a dramatic turnaround, Torre is expected to leave Barcelona this summer. His relationship with Flick has deteriorated, and with his patience exhausted, he is determined to find a team where he can play regularly and continue his development.
