Barcelona offers a golden deal to Real Madrid in the upcoming transfer window

Barcelona has pulled out of the race to secure one of the most high-profile deals in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Currently, Barcelona leads the Spanish league table with 54 points, while their long-time rivals, Real Madrid, are in second place with the same points but trailing on goal difference.

According to reports, Bayern Munich has decided to withdraw their contract renewal offer for Joshua Kimmich due to the player’s hesitation in committing to his future with the club.

Spanish journalist Luis Miguel Sanz, writing for Sport, confirmed that Barcelona has maintained its stance and will not pursue the German star.

Several reports suggest that Kimmich is now linked to a potential move to Real Madrid, as the club looks to strengthen its midfield following the retirement of Toni Kroos.

Sanz also reported that Barcelona’s management, in coordination with coach Hansi Flick, believes the midfield is already well-covered. Given the club’s limited budget, their transfer priorities lie in strengthening other positions.

Although Flick’s top priority upon joining Barcelona was signing Kimmich, he is well aware of the club’s financial struggles. As a result, President Joan Laporta has decided to withdraw from the deal.
