The report highlighted Flick’s admiration for young midfielder Marc Casado, who he considered the standout player of the match, surpassing Dani Olmo and Lamine Yamal. Flick has urged Casado to maintain this level to earn a consistent spot in the starting lineup.
Another player who impressed Flick was left-back Gerard Martin, who scored Barcelona’s opening goal in spectacular fashion. As a result, the coach plans to give him more opportunities in upcoming matches.
