Alexander Isak Reveals How Ruben Amorim Derailed His Move to Manchester United
Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak has made a stunning revelation, disclosing that he was on the brink of joining Manchester United in January—until a phone call from Ruben Amorim changed everything.
In an exclusive interview, the Swedish forward admitted that personal terms had been agreed, and he was preparing to move to Old Trafford. However, after speaking directly with United’s soon-to-be manager, he reconsidered his decision.

Amorim hinted at instability within United and suggested that Isak’s development might be better served by staying at Newcastle for now.
