Arsenal interested in Marc Casado but Barcelona have no plans to sell – reports

Arsenal are reportedly keeping tabs on Marc Casado, but Barcelona have made it clear they have no plans to sell the midfielder. The 21-year-old has impressed under Hansi Flick and remains a key part of the club’s long-term vision.

Casado has made significant strides this season, having debuted under Xavi and later gaining more responsibility under Flick. His positional awareness, passing ability, and discipline are highly valued by Barcelona.

While Chelsea had previously shown interest, Arsenal are now closely monitoring his situation, according to Fichajes, in case an opportunity arises.

However, Barcelona have no intention of letting him go. Flick considers him a vital player for the future, and unless Casado himself requests a transfer, the club will not entertain any offers.

Additionally, Barcelona reportedly believe that renewing Wojciech Szczesny’s contract is the right move.
