BREAKING NEWS: “HE is the ONLY reason I’m leaving! Fans think it’s about money or Madrid’s stature—NO! I’ve spent my whole life here, and everything I want to win with real Madrid, I’ve already WON already here But I just can’t stand this anymore! My decision isn’t about trophies, fame, or fortune—it’s about HIM. I refuse to stay another season because of him.

Alexander-Arnold Praises Strongest Bond with Salah, While Robertson Addresses Criticism

Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has revealed that his closest bond in the squad is with Mohamed Salah. The duo, who have shared the right flank for years, have built a formidable on-field partnership.

Having played 314 matches together across all competitions, they have contributed to 19 goal involvements as a pair. Speaking in an interview with Stadium Astro (via @DaveOCKOP), Alexander-Arnold expressed his deep connection with Salah:

“I’d say Mo, if I’m honest. We’ve known each other and played together for so long that our bond, especially on the pitch, is just natural. We understand each other’s game.”

He also highlighted their mutual respect:

“If you watch closely, you’ll notice that we never moan at each other, even when we could. We just respect each other’s playing style. Sometimes, I’ll make an overlapping run, and he’ll take a shot instead of passing to me. In my head, I might think he should have passed, but I know the next time I have the ball, and I don’t pass to him, he’ll probably feel the same way. That understanding is what makes our right side one of the best.”

However, this partnership may not last much longer. Both players are nearing the end of their contracts, with Alexander-Arnold linked to Real Madrid and Salah’s future still uncertain.

Robertson Responds to Performance Criticism

Meanwhile, Andrew Robertson has faced scrutiny over his performances this season. Despite speculation about his potential departure, the Scottish left-back reaffirmed his commitment to Liverpool.

Speaking to Walk On magazine (via This Is Anfield), Robertson stated:

“I’ve been Liverpool’s starting left-back for eight years, and I’m very proud of that. It’s not easy to maintain that position at a club of this size, where they can sign anyone in the world.”

Acknowledging the criticism, he added:

“I want to remain the starting left-back, but I accept that criticism comes with the job. If people want to question my performances, so be it.”

Robertson has featured in 27 Premier League matches this season but has struggled to make a significant attacking impact, registering just one assist in the UEFA Champions League and no goal contributions in the league.

As Liverpool navigates an important transition period, the futures of key players like Alexander-Arnold, Salah, and Robertson remain a major talking point for fans and pundits alike.
