Barcelona has issued a statement regarding the CSD’s decision on the club’s appeal concerning the registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor.
The Superior Council of Sports (CSD) ruled in favor of the appeal filed on January 7 by both players and FC Barcelona, overturning the decision made by the RFEF-LaLiga Monitoring Committee. According to the CSD, the committee lacked the authority to rule on the prior visa and the requested licenses, rendering its initial decision invalid.
As a result, Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor retain their valid registrations and can continue playing for the first team. The CSD had already granted an urgent precautionary measure on January 8, allowing the players to continue their professional careers without interruption.
