Mac Allister Shuts Down Real Madrid Transfer Talk, Commits Future to Liverpool
Trent Alexander-Arnold isn’t the only Liverpool player catching Real Madrid’s eye — Alexis Mac Allister has also emerged as a potential target after a standout season under new manager Arne Slot.
The 26-year-old Argentine has been instrumental in Liverpool’s success this campaign, tallying six goals and five assists while helping drive the team’s title ambitions. His form has inevitably sparked transfer speculation, with Real Madrid reportedly monitoring his progress.
However, Mac Allister has firmly denied any intention of leaving Anfield. In an interview with TyC Sports’ Gastón Edul, reported by GOAL, the midfielder made it clear that he’s happy at Liverpool and fully focused on the present.
“I hear the rumors, but what matters is the here and now. Even if the club values me, one bad game could change everything,” he said. “I’m very comfortable at Liverpool. I don’t see any reason to leave. I respect the club deeply, and it’s not right to talk about others.”
Since joining from Brighton, Mac Allister has quickly become a key figure in the squad and one of the Premier League’s top-performing midfielders.
With Alexander-Arnold’s future still uncertain, Mac Allister’s loyalty comes as a welcome boost for Liverpool supporters. Meanwhile, the club continues to explore midfield additions, with Xavi Simons among the names being linked to Anfield.
