PSG target Jules Kounde, but Barcelona reluctant to let star defender go – reports

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly targeting Barcelona defender Jules Koundé for a summer move, according to PSG Inside. Club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is said to be a strong admirer of the 26-year-old French international, whose defensive quality, tactical intelligence, and attacking output have caught the eye — particularly after his match-winning goal in extra time of the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid.

Despite PSG’s interest, Barcelona have no plans to sell Koundé, who is under contract until June 2027. Koundé has had an outstanding season, racking up 52 appearances across all competitions, with 4 goals and 8 assists over 4,351 minutes.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are reportedly still in contact with Koundé’s representatives, maintaining interest after previously pursuing the defender before his move to Barcelona.
