Huge boost for Liverpool as “underrated” talent considers transfer out of current club

Real Madrid forward Rodrygo Goes is reportedly contemplating a move away from the club this summer, a development that could present a major opportunity for Liverpool and other top teams.

Though the Brazilian international has proven to be a world-class talent, his recent form has dipped, and his place in the starting lineup is no longer guaranteed.

According to Marca, Rodrygo is now believed to be open to the idea of leaving the Bernabéu, sparking interest from several elite clubs. The situation is described as a sensitive period in his career, potentially leading to a high-profile transfer in the upcoming window.

Where Rodrygo might land next remains a subject of speculation.

Rodrygo is the type of player whose presence in the Premier League would be exciting, and it remains to be seen whether any firm developments will emerge soon.

Liverpool have been recently linked with the 24-year-old by Todo Fichajes, while Fichajes has also reported interest from Arsenal. Both clubs seem like logical destinations, as they are expected to be active in the market for attacking reinforcements this summer. However, any concrete negotiations are likely still at an early stage.

Often considered underrated, Rodrygo was praised by Jude Bellingham—who referred to him as one of Real Madrid’s most overlooked talents, according to The Athletic. This raises the question: could letting him go be a decision Real might come to regret?

At Arsenal, Rodrygo could potentially secure a regular starting role and provide the extra goal-scoring edge the Gunners have been searching for. Meanwhile, Liverpool might view him as an upgrade over Darwin Núñez or the frequently sidelined Diogo Jota.

If Real Madrid want to retain him, they may need to offer more consistent playing time—otherwise, they run the risk of strengthening a major European rival.
