RAPHINHA ISSUES ULTIMATUM TO BARCELONA: “Sign Nico Williams and I’m Gone!”

Barcelona winger Raphinha has sent a stark warning to club president Joan Laporta, threatening to leave the Camp Nou if the club moves ahead with plans to sign a direct competitor like Nico Williams, according to El Nacional.

The Brazilian international, who has shown flashes of brilliance but struggled with consistency since arriving from Leeds, is determined to remain a starter under new boss Hansi Flick. However, growing rumours of Barça targeting Williams—a rising star at Athletic Club known for his explosive pace and direct play—have rattled Raphinha’s camp.

Sources close to the player say he views the move as a vote of no confidence in his role and would consider offers from the Premier League or Saudi Arabia if his position is compromised.

With Barcelona navigating a tight financial situation and needing to trim their wage bill, a sale could bring in much-needed funds. But losing Raphinha, especially after his resurgence late this season, would be a divisive decision in the dressing room and among fans.

The summer just got a lot more complicated for

Laporta.
