After winning La Liga… Dani Olmo shocks everyone and decides to leave Barcelona, set to join this surprise club in the upcoming transfer window!

Just hours after securing a treble—La Liga, the Spanish Super Cup, and the Copa del Rey—Hansi Flick began planning for the upcoming season. Barcelona is eager to get a head start on the summer transfer window, aiming to sort out player departures and identify new signings that align with Flick’s vision.

According to Christian Falk of Sport Bild, Manchester City is targeting Barça midfielder Dani Olmo as a potential summer acquisition. With Kevin De Bruyne set to leave the club at the end of the season, City is actively seeking a replacement.

While Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz was initially City’s top choice—and his representatives even held talks in England—he now appears to be on the verge of joining Bayern Munich. As a result, City has shifted its focus to 27-year-old Olmo.

Falk notes that Olmo hasn’t been a regular starter under Flick, which could prompt Barcelona to consider selling him, especially if a substantial offer comes in.
