Official: Raphinha Extends Contract with Barcelona Until 2028
FC Barcelona have confirmed that Raphinha has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until summer 2028. The Brazilian forward has added an extra year to his current deal, which was initially set to run until 2027, along with a salary increase.
Raphinha enjoyed a standout season, recording an incredible 59 goal contributions — more than any other player at the club — and played a key role in helping Barça reclaim the La Liga title.
His extension ends months of speculation surrounding a potential exit, with the club firmly committing to him as part of Hansi Flick’s long-term attacking setup.
Reflecting on the team’s resilience, Raphinha said:
“In January, some said we’d only compete for 3rd place.”
Now, with a new contract and a title under his belt, Raphinha is set to be one of the pillars of Barcelona’s project moving forward.
