Barcelona midfielder Pablo Torre looks set to leave the club this summer, after new head coach Hansi Flick reportedly made it clear that the player is not part of his future plans. This move is expected to be among the first sales under Flick’s management.
According to El Nacional, the club has informed Torre that he is free to begin talks with other clubs as he searches for a new opportunity following a frustrating season with limited playing time. Despite showing flashes of quality, his appearances were rare, largely due to strong competition from the likes of Pedri, Gavi, Dani Olmo, and Fermín López.
Although Flick acknowledges Torre’s talent, he feels the team needs someone who can make a more consistent impact. As a result, Barcelona is actively working to recover the €5 million they spent on signing him, with several clubs already showing interest.
Torre, who turned down offers in the winter in hopes of celebrating success with Barcelona, now understands that remaining at the club would mean no meaningful first-team minutes. His departure is now considered inevitable—only his next club remains to be decided.
