Recent media reports have highlighted Barcelona’s interest in acquiring one of Morocco’s brightest young football talents. The club is actively looking to strengthen its squad with skilled players to remain competitive in the title race and maximize its chances of winning trophies each season.
According to Goal TV, Barcelona is eyeing Monaco’s Elias Ben Seghir along with his teammate Magnus Akliouch, with plans to reinforce their options on the wing in the near future. Ben Seghir has been making a name for himself in the French league and is seen as a future cornerstone of the Moroccan national team, where he is already close to being a regular starter.
Currently under contract with Monaco until June 2027, Ben Seghir has previously expressed admiration for Barcelona, saying he grew up supporting the club because of its distinctive playing style—something that could sway his decision toward a move to Camp Nou. Meanwhile, English giants Manchester City and Liverpool are also tracking his progress.
