OFFICIAL: Cole Palmer has successfully undergone his medical ahead of a move to Liverpool. Paperwork between Chelsea and Liverpool is now being finalized, with only the player’s approval pending before an official announcement is made.

Liverpool are reportedly planning a sensational move to sign Chelsea standout Cole Palmer.

Since his unexpected transfer from Manchester City in 2023, Palmer has become Chelsea’s key attacking player and is currently listed at 20/1 odds to win the 2025 Ballon d’Or.

With Chelsea still fighting for a Champions League spot, Liverpool — now managed by Arne Slot — are closely monitoring the 22-year-old, ready to make a move ahead of the new season.

Although Palmer may fall short of last season’s impressive 27 goals and 15 assists, his performances remain eye-catching. Slot is said to be a strong admirer of the England international.

With the possible departures of Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, and Federico Chiesa, Liverpool could look to Palmer as a major attacking reinforcement.

According to teamTALK, Chelsea may ask for around £85 million to part ways with Palmer, though the final decision may hinge on the club’s ability to offload other players like Trevoh Chalobah, Joao Felix, and Kepa Arrizabalaga.
