In a surprise to fans, Barcelona midfielder Pedri revealed the clubâs first signing of the summer: young goalkeeper Juan Garcia. The 24-year-old impressed last season with Espanyol, catching the eye of Barça scouts with his standout performances in La Liga.
Quoted by Football EspaĂąa, Pedri expressed his support for the move:
âJuan Garcia is joining the best club in the world, and I wish him all the best in this new stage.â
He went on to add:
âGarcia has great abilities, but since heâs not officially part of the team yet, thereâs not much more I can say.â
Pedri also noted that if Garcia does join, he would assure him that Barcelona is the best place to play.
