A third Liverpool supporter chimed in with a prediction: “If Alexander Isak catches fire, don’t be shocked if this unfolds — Isak to Liverpool, Ekitike to Newcastle. Back in January 2022, Newcastle came close to landing Ekitike with a €46 million bid, but he opted to stay in France due to his age. The signs are pointing in a familiar direction.”
So far this summer, Liverpool have been active in the transfer market. They’ve already secured Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen and are reportedly nearing a club-record deal for German international Florian Wirtz.
Additionally, Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez has been strongly linked with a move to Anfield, as the club looks to further strengthen its squad.
