Liverpool eye stunning ‘three-player trade’ for Alexander Isak alternative in move that could define the transfer window

Liverpool Eye Ambitious Three-Player Swap as They Seek Striker Alternative to Isak

Liverpool are reportedly considering a bold three-player swap deal as they search for an alternative to Alexander Isak.

The club has already made major moves in the transfer window, bringing in Bayer Leverkusen duo Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz for £29.5 million and a club-record £116 million, respectively.

After a title-winning first season, manager Arne Slot is eager to bolster the squad further for the 2025/26 campaign, with a new striker high on the agenda. Although Isak, who scored 23 Premier League goals for Newcastle last season, has been linked to Liverpool, his high price tag could prevent a deal.

As a result, Liverpool have turned their focus to Victor Osimhen. The Nigerian striker impressed during his loan spell at Galatasaray from Napoli, netting 37 goals across all competitions. He’s now on Liverpool’s radar, though Manchester United and Al Hilal are also reportedly interested.
