Barcelona must pay €70m to sign AC Milan winger Rafael Leao – reports

🚨 Barcelona Eye Rafael Leão After Nico Williams Snub – €70M Price Tag Revealed

After being turned down by Nico Williams, Barcelona have shifted their focus toward AC Milan star Rafael Leão, reigniting interest in the explosive Portuguese winger.

According to Sport, AC Milan are willing to consider offers of around €70 million plus add-ons—a figure significantly below Leão’s €150 million release clause, yet still a steep demand for financially constrained Barça.

Leão was a key figure for Milan in the 2024/25 campaign, contributing 12 goals and 13 assists across 50 appearances. The 25-year-old’s blend of pace, creativity, and direct attacking play has long attracted admiration from the Camp Nou hierarchy.

However, any move for Leão would likely require Barcelona to sell key assets to balance Financial Fair Play obligations and generate the necessary transfer funds.

Meanwhile, Barça sporting director Deco has reportedly ruled out a move for Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford, instead placing priority on signing Liverpool’s Luis Díaz, should a deal for Leão prove unattainable.

The summer ahead looks set for high drama at Camp Nou, as Deco and Hansi Flick look to reshape the squad with elite wide talent.
