Liverpool have completed their second signing of the summer! ✅ Congrats to the Reds!

Liverpool Closing In on Milos Kerkez Deal Amid Summer Rebuild

Liverpool are reportedly on the verge of signing Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez, following a cryptic farewell message from the Hungarian international that’s fueled transfer speculation.

The 21-year-old enjoyed an impressive Premier League campaign, starting all 38 matches for Bournemouth while contributing two goals and six assists. His consistency and attacking flair have caught the eye of several top clubs — with Liverpool now emerging as the frontrunner.

Kerkez added fuel to the rumors with a social media post that read:
“I don’t know what will happen in the next week, but Cherries family, thank you!”
— widely interpreted as a goodbye to Bournemouth fans.

With Andy Robertson’s form in question, Liverpool see Kerkez as an ideal reinforcement: youthful, dynamic, and capable of offering both defensive solidity and forward thrust on the left flank.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that negotiations between Liverpool and Bournemouth are progressing well, with no issues expected over personal terms.

If finalized, the move would see Kerkez reunite with fellow Hungarian Dominik Szoboszlai at Anfield, strengthening both the squad and national camaraderie within the team.

Coming off a Premier League title, new manager Arne Slot is wasting no time in shaping his squad. Kerkez is seen as one piece of a broader plan, with Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen expected to be Liverpool’s headline signing of the summer.

Meanwhile, midfielder Harvey Elliott may be on his way out as the Reds adjust their midfield structure ahead of the new season.
