Lіverрool Agree to Sell Luіѕ Díaz to Bayern Munіch — But wіth One Key Condіtіon

Luis Díaz’s future at Liverpool has become a hot topic this summer, as transfer rumors continue to swirl. With Bayern Munich now entering the race alongside Barcelona to secure the Colombian winger, Liverpool’s stance is reportedly softening—but only if a key condition is met.

In a conversation with a Colombian influencer, Díaz addressed the ongoing uncertainty:
“We’re in the middle of negotiations. Let’s see what happens—for me and for the club. We’re all trying to make the best possible decision,” he said, while also emphasizing that he remains “calm” and “happy” with life at Anfield.

Both Bayern Munich and Barcelona are believed to have submitted initial bids, which Liverpool promptly turned down. However, that hasn’t deterred either club. Bayern, in particular, have stepped up their pursuit following Jamal Musiala’s injury during the FIFA Club World Cup. Barcelona, meanwhile, still regard Díaz as one of their top targets for the summer window.

Liverpool’s official stance remains resolute: the club has no current plans to part ways with Luis Díaz this summer. However, sources close to the Merseyside outfit indicate that the board could reconsider if a “truly irresistible offer” arrives—believed to be in the region of £85 million or higher.

With two years remaining on his contract, which runs until June 2027, Díaz is still regarded as a central piece in Arne Slot’s vision for the club.

The 28-year-old enjoyed an impressive 2024/25 season, netting 17 goals and registering 8 assists. His versatility was on full display, excelling on both flanks and even stepping into a central role when needed—further underlining his importance to the squad.

Luis Díaz recently faced backlash from a section of Liverpool supporters after footage surfaced of him partying at a music event in Colombia. The timing of the video drew criticism, as it coincided with the funeral of Diogo Jota and his brother in Portugal—a moment of deep mourning for many within the club. Some fans labeled Díaz’s actions as “insensitive” during such a somber period.

Although Díaz later shared a touching tribute to Jota on social media—describing him as “a true friend who supported me a lot when I first arrived at Liverpool”—he chose not to directly address the viral footage.

As it stands, the Colombian international is preparing to rejoin Liverpool for pre-season training. Whether he remains at Anfield beyond the summer will likely hinge on how far Bayern Munich or Barcelona are willing to go—and if either club is ready to meet Liverpool’s non-negotiable condition: an offer that simply can’t be turned down
