🔴 Arsenal One Step Away From Unleashing Dream Starting XI vs AC Milan

Arsenal’s pre-season is heating up fast — and Mikel Arteta could soon have his dream lineup available as the Gunners prepare for their first major friendly of the summer against AC Milan on Wednesday, July 23 in Singapore.

After a week of intense training in La Manga, Spain, the Arsenal squad will return to London before flying out to Asia this Saturday, where they will begin a crucial stretch of fixtures including games against Newcastle (July 27) and Tottenham (July 31) in Hong Kong.

💥 Double Transfer Boost Ahead of Asia Tour

Arsenal are closing in on two major signings that could transform their attack — and both could debut against AC Milan:

  • 🇸🇪 Viktor Gyökeres: The Gunners have reached a verbal agreement with Sporting CP to sign the prolific Swedish striker for £54.8 million + £8.6 million in add-ons. Gyökeres is expected to undergo a medical in the coming days and, if all goes to plan, travel with the squad to Singapore.
  • 🏴 Noni Madueke: Arsenal are set to seal a £52 million move for the Chelsea winger. Madueke will provide vital cover for Bukayo Saka and could also challenge for a role on the left wing, where Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard, and Kai Havertz currently rotate.

🧠 Arteta’s Tactical Puzzle Coming Together

With these additions, Mikel Arteta is on the verge of assembling one of the most exciting and tactically flexible squads in Europe. The new faces will allow Arsenal to rotate effectively across multiple competitions while remaining potent in attack.

🔮 Projected Dream Starting XI vs AC Milan:

                 Raya
       Timber – Saliba – Gabriel
             Lewis-Skelly
         Zubimendi – Rice
              Odegaard
    Saka – Gyökeres – Martinelli

Notably, youngster Myles Lewis-Skelly could feature at left-back, showcasing Arsenal’s ongoing commitment to promoting Hale End talent. Meanwhile, the midfield three of Zubimendi, Rice, and Ødegaard could offer the perfect balance of control, creativity, and bite.
