Barcelona ready to battle Ajax for Flamengo’s young sensation Ryan Roberto – reports

Barcelona have reportedly joined the race to sign Flamengo’s highly-rated young winger Ryan Roberto, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The Catalan club has reached out to Flamengo to gather information about the 17-year-old, as they believe he fits the ideal profile of the young winger they are looking to bring in.

However, Barcelona may face strong competition from Ajax, who are also interested in securing Roberto’s services this summer.

Barça’s scouts have been impressed by Roberto’s versatility—being able to play on both flanks—as well as his pace and dribbling skills.

So far in 2025, Roberto has tallied 20 goals and 14 assists in 33 appearances for Flamengo’s U-17 team, although he has yet to debut for the senior squad.
