Eberechi Eze has ‘told friends’ which club he’s joining amid Arsenal, Chelsea and Bayern Munich interest

Eberechi Eze has reportedly told friends which club he plans to join this summer amid interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Bayern Munich.

Crystal Palace’s standout performer enjoyed a sensational campaign under Oliver Glasner, tallying 14 goals and 11 assists last season.

His efforts included scoring the decisive goal in the club’s historic 1-0 FA Cup final win over Manchester City—securing Palace’s first major trophy.

Unsurprisingly, the 27-year-old forward has caught the eye of several elite European clubs following his remarkable form.

Arsenal are reportedly in the market for a flexible attacking option, while Tottenham are said to be eyeing him as a potential partner for Mohammed Kudus.

Meanwhile, Bundesliga heavyweights Bayern Munich—who snapped up Michael Olise from Palace last summer—are also believed to be monitoring the situation.

According to TBR Football, Eberechi Eze has privately informed close friends that he plans to join Arsenal this summer.

Why are Arsenal targeting Eze?
Eze is a proven Premier League talent, known for his versatility and currently at the peak of his career—qualities that make him an attractive prospect for Mikel Arteta as he looks to guide Arsenal to their first league title in two decades.

Eze typically plays in the inside-left channel, where he can cut in to create opportunities and find the net. Should he make the switch to north London, he’d likely begin on the left wing, drifting inside during attacking phases.

To accommodate his style, it will be crucial for Arsenal’s left-back to maintain width on that flank. Eze could also feature in a more central midfield role, offering a creative alternative to Martin Ødegaard, who endured a dip in form last season.

What Moves Have Arsenal Made This Summer?

Arsenal have been busy in the transfer market as they aim to build a squad capable of challenging for major honours.

They kicked things off with the arrivals of goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga and midfielder Christian Nørgaard. While both are solid additions, they’re expected to play more of a supporting role within the squad.

The marquee signing so far has been Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad, who joined for £60 million. He’s seen as the long-term successor to Thomas Partey in the heart of midfield.

In attack, Arsenal secured Noni Madueke from Chelsea in a deal worth £48.5 million. The 23-year-old England international typically plays on the right wing but was occasionally deployed on the left at Stamford Bridge. With Bukayo Saka locked in on the right, Madueke is expected to compete with Gabriel Martinelli for a spot on the left flank.

Arsenal are also closing in on a long-anticipated addition up front. They’ve agreed to sign striker Viktor Gyökeres from Sporting CP in a £63.8 million deal, with the Swedish international scheduled to arrive in London on Friday.

Gyökeres has been prolific in Portugal, racking up an astonishing 97 goals in 102 appearances. However, there are lingering questions over whether he can replicate that form in the Premier League.
