Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has etched his name into Premier League history by becoming the all-time leading scorer on opening weekends.
The Egyptian forward has now netted 10 goals in opening-round fixtures, surpassing the tallies of legends such as Thierry Henry, Wayne Rooney, and Sergio AgΓΌero. Alongside his goals, Salah also leads in overall contributions on opening days with 15 (goals + assists), highlighting his unmatched consistency at the start of campaigns.
On August 15, Salah found the net once again in Liverpoolβs 4-2 victory over Bournemouth at Anfield, continuing his remarkable streak.
Now 32, Salah is coming off an outstanding 2023/24 season, in which he delivered 29 goals and 18 assists in the leagueβnumbers that further solidify his standing as one of the Premier Leagueβs greatest-ever players.
