The transfer window has taken another dramatic turn, with Liverpool, Manchester United, and Crystal Palace all caught up in a complicated series of moves.
Manchester United, having failed to land Brighton’s Carlos Baleba, turned their attention to Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton. But Palace face the risk of losing two key players — Marc Guehi and Eberechi Eze — and if either departs, they are unlikely to sanction Wharton’s exit as well.
