Alexander Isak to Liverpool transfer latest amid second offer ‘update’ and £15m discount claim

🚨 Liverpool Eye Alexander Isak as Transfer Window Enters Final Weeks

Liverpool remain determined to sign Alexander Isak as the summer transfer window enters its final two weeks, despite Newcastle United’s reluctance to sell.

Earlier this month, the Reds reportedly made a £110 million offer for the Swedish striker, which Newcastle rejected. Liverpool are said to remain ready to push for a deal, potentially setting a new British transfer record, surpassing the £116 million spent on Florian Wirtz.

Newcastle, meanwhile, are focusing on bringing in two new strikers themselves, leaving the Reds in a waiting game.

According to former Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys, Liverpool have a back-up bid structure in addition to the initial offer:

  • £80 million upfront now
  • £60 million next summer

Keys suggests Newcastle may have to decide which offer to accept, though the club has yet to show willingness to negotiate. He also mentioned that Real Madrid could be in the picture, though this claim remains unconfirmed.

With just days left in the window, all eyes are on Anfield to see if Liverpool can finally secure their long-sought striker target.
