BREAKING: Liverpool are now GOING ALL-IN FOR RODRYGO! The English club has decided to STRONGLY pursue the Brazilian. They will do WHATEVER IT TAKES to sign him.

Rodrygo looks increasingly set to become Liverpool’s next marquee signing.

The Reds have been short on wide options since Luis DĆaz completed his Ā£65m switch to Bayern Munich three weeks ago, a deal that generated around Ā£40m profit for the club. While 16-year-old Rio Ngumoha has been accelerated into Arne Slot’s senior plans, Liverpool remain light in attack and are seeking a proven winger before the transfer window shuts.

Brazilian international Rodrygo has now emerged as the frontrunner. Journalist Jorge Nicola reports that the forward is unhappy at Real Madrid, where he has often been deployed out of position on the right and seen his minutes limited. Both Liverpool and Manchester City are keen, but Liverpool appear to be pushing hardest to make him DĆaz’s direct replacement.

Real Madrid are demanding €90m (Ā£78m) for the 24-year-old, a fee Liverpool can cover thanks to their pause in negotiations with Newcastle over Alexander Isak. City’s pursuit is complicated by Pep Guardiola’s desire to hold onto Savinho, which could leave the path clear for the Reds.

Rodrygo’s profile makes him an ideal long-term fit: versatile on both wings, consistent in output, and entering his peak years. Sharing time with Cody Gakpo in the short term, he could ultimately evolve into Liverpool’s left-sided talisman once Ngumoha is fully established and contracts cycle.

If Liverpool receive the green light internally, the move could accelerate quickly — a transfer that would reshape their forward line for seasons to come.
