Media Watch: Liverpool Keeping Tabs on Barcelona’s Dani Olmo
Reports in Spain suggest that Liverpool are among several clubs monitoring the situation of Barcelona midfielder Dani Olmo ahead of the January transfer window.
The 26-year-old has not yet been registered for the second half of the La Liga season, with Barcelona unable to meet financial requirements to include him and teammate Pau Víctor in their squad. As a result, both players are currently ineligible to feature for the Catalan side in 2024/25.
This uncertainty has sparked transfer speculation, with Liverpool, Manchester City, and Bayern Munich all said to be tracking developments. Olmo could become available in January if Barcelona are unable to resolve the issue.
For now, the Spanish club are reportedly exploring ways to meet league regulations, while Olmo’s representatives continue to assess his options.
