Christian Falk: Liverpool Monitoring Bayern Munich’s Michael Olise
Reliable German journalist Christian Falk has delivered a fresh transfer update, revealing that Liverpool are among the clubs keeping tabs on Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise.
Olise, who made his name in the Premier League with Crystal Palace, has taken his game to another level since moving to Germany. The 23-year-old scored 20 goals across all competitions last season and has already started the new campaign strongly with three goals in his first three matches.
In his CF Bayern Insider column, Falk confirmed that Liverpool, Manchester City, and PSG are all showing interest in the French international. However, a move would not be straightforward — Olise has no release clause in his contract, and Transfermarkt currently values him at around €100 million.
For Liverpool, Olise is being viewed as a potential long-term successor to Mohamed Salah, with his pace, technical quality, and eye for goal making him a natural fit on the right wing.
Falk wrote: “It is TRUE: Premier League clubs are monitoring Michael Olise. Other top European clubs, including PSG, are also interested, and as a French player, he would fit well into their philosophy.”
He also noted frustration within England about missing out on Olise when he left Palace, with Newcastle the only club to make a serious attempt at signing him. Now, with bigger names circling, Bayern Munich remain firm — the Bundesliga champions are not considering offers and have dismissed rumors of an exit clause.
