Paul Joyce of The Times reports that Aston Villa are closely watching Harvey Elliott’s situation at Liverpool, with concerns that the midfielder could see reduced game time following Alexander Isak’s expected arrival at Anfield.
Liverpool’s recent investments in attacking talent have already made it difficult for the England U21 international to secure consistent minutes. The addition of Isak is set to intensify competition for attacking and creative roles, potentially pushing Elliott further down the pecking order.
Elliott’s versatility across midfield and attack remains a strength, but opportunities may be limited this season.
