🚨 Roony Bardghji Sets the Record Straight on Barcelona Role
Roony Bardghji has dismissed rumours that he was ever considered for Barcelona’s reserve team, insisting his move to the Catalan giants was always with the first team in mind.
Speaking to the media, the 18-year-old winger made his stance clear:
“I never came to Barça to play with the reserve team, that possibility never existed. It was something invented by the media. From day one, both the club and I were clear that I’d be part of the first team. I’ve already played over 100 games at first-team level, so I was never going to join a reserve side.”
Bardghji, who arrived from FC Copenhagen after building a reputation as one of Europe’s brightest young talents, says he has quickly settled into life at Camp Nou.
“FC Barcelona is fantastic. The city, the club… everything is different from Copenhagen. The dressing room feels like a family. I haven’t experienced this vibe in any other team,” he added.
The Swedish talent has already impressed in training and is tipped to become a key part of Barcelona’s rebuild under Xavi Hernández.
