Sources familiar with the matter indicate that a January departure from Liverpool is improbable, with the defender remaining patient amid ongoing contract negotiations. Although a return to his childhood club Celtic appears unlikely next summer, the possibility of a future move hasnโt been dismissed entirely.
The podcast stated:
โRobertson has been a lifelong Celtic supporter and came through their youth system before moving on to build his career and become Scotlandโs captain. While Celtic would undoubtedly be eager to bring him back, such a move doesnโt appear to be on his immediate agenda.โ
At the same time, Milos Kerkezโs inconsistent performances since joining from Bournemouth could impact Liverpoolโs stance. Former Manchester United scout Mick Brown suggested that manager Arne Slot may be troubled by the Hungarianโs lack of form.
